#TheShowMustBePaused の記録

米ミネアポリスでアフリカ系男性のジョージ・フロイド氏が白人警官に虐殺された事件を受けて、全米で抗議活動が広がっている。
音楽業界でもこの事件が深刻に受け止められ、ツイッターやインスタグラムなどのSNSでハッシュタグ #TheShowMustBePaused （ショーは中断すべきだ）が使われるようになった。
さらにこのハッシュタグを使って、6月2日を音楽業界全体としての抗議のストライキの日とすべく呼びかけが開始され、瞬く間に大手レーベルから個々のミュージシャンまでが参加の意志を表明する状況になった。
ここでは配信プラットフォーム、レーベル、楽器メーカー、音楽誌、そしてミュージシャンらの #TheShowMustBePaused の意思表明をできる限り集め、記録として残しておきたい。
またこれらは「音楽に政治を持ち込むな」などと平然と幼稚な戯言を垂れ流す、この国の間抜け共へのカウンターにもなるであろう。

ロック系の音楽誌も全面的に抗議を支持する行動に入った。
通常はラップやソウルなどとは縁の薄い Kerrang! や LOUDWIRE といったメタル系メディアによる強いメッセージが印象的である。
